Upstart hometown jewelry business, Kismet, has partnered with the Austin Symphony this season to support the Symphony’s Educational Programs through a special edition line of Austin Bolos.
Bolos? Yes! Named after Argentinian "boleadoras" (a lariat-style tool), the bolo is an "Austin-chic" accessory everyone should have in their wardrobe. Worn as a necklace or classically as a tie, a bolo—much like a scarf, hat or pocket square—is a small way to add that 'little something extra' to a look.
From now through the end of 2019, purchasing a bolo from the Symphony Collection sends $10 directly to the Symphony’s Educational Programs.
Every year the Austin Symphony goes into Austin schools and impacts over 50,000 kids through performances, teaching, providing instruments, hosting young composers, facilitating auditions and more.
Designed specifically for this partnership, each bolo is handmade by local fused glass artist, Katie Heiselberg of Kismet. It's Katie’s goal to develop quality modern glass jewelry that will transcend trends and make you smile for years to come.
Gift giving season is fast-approaching and Symphony Edition bolos are the gift that gives twice!
